2021 is a year with many impacts from the COVID-19 epidemic. With silent contributions and dedication during the social distancing period due to the epidemic's influence, the IT department was named NTQ Division Of The Year 2021.
On duty, support members when needed. In the peak days of social distancing in 2021, when 100% of NTQ members have WFH, the "IT warriors" are still determined to stay at the company, despite many risks that may be encountered to be ready. This is the spirit that an individual can be prepared to take on.
Although WFH, the work in NTQ is still deployed, as usual, working remotely. Therefore, the network infrastructure and IT system at that time was a "hot issue" throughout the Company. If the network infrastructure and IT system are not guaranteed, the jobs will not be able to be deployed in this form.
Not to mention, NTQ has many high-security projects, so during the last WFH, IT also had to come up with a plan to solve the problem of information security for these projects. Accordingly, for WFH activities to take place stably and urgently quickly, the IT department deployed a server cluster VPN system, calculated to ensure optimal remote work for members. For members who register to borrow machines and equipment from the company, IT also supports setting up special devices such as Mac mini & phone/Tablet tests to help WFH preparation be deployed quickly.
Only jobs that generate revenue can easily resonate or receive recognition at NTQ. Every job is equally important and recognized - if that individual makes efforts and makes breakthroughs at work. And in 2021, IT will be one of the representative units for the support block - the block that is considered "only spending the company's money" has given great inspiration to other units to continue to believe and make efforts.
