1. JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Define end-to-end automation strategy and quality roadmap for products.

- Architect, design, and optimize scalable automation frameworks.

- Lead, mentor, and upskill junior and mid-level Automation Engineers.

- Review automation code, enforce best practices, and ensure maintainability.

- Work closely with technical leadership, developers, and stakeholders to improve product quality.

- Own the automation coverage, execution results, and quality metrics.

- Drive process improvements, automation efficiency, and tool selection.

- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and propose improvements.

- Conduct advanced testing (API, DB, integration, contract testing, non-UI).

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, security, and performance expectations.


2. REQUIREMENT:


a) Must have:

- Deep expertise in Web/Mobile/Desktop testing.

- Extensive experience with major automation frameworks:

- Selenium / Playwright / Katalon / Cypress / WebdriverIO

- Strong programming skills in **Java, JavaScript, TypeScript**, or similar.

- Solid experience with automation design patterns:

- POM, BDD, Keyword/Hybrid, Data-driven, Modular frameworks

- Strong hands-on skills with TestNG/JUnit/Jasmine/Mocha.

- Expertise in API & non-UI testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, DB layers).

- Experience with Git, branching strategies, and code reviews.

- Strong experience integrating automation into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

b) Nice to have: 

- Performance testing with JMeter, k6, Gatling.

- Security testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).

- Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for automated test infrastructure.

- Experience with contract testing (PACT) & service virtualization.
