Joining NTQ since 2012 - from around the time the company was first established, to 2024, Mr. Tran Bao Thai has become one of the longest-serving members of the N family. He is currently holding the position of Deputy Director. of a Production Center, in charge of one of NTQ's key projects, working on customer management for a large Japanese technology corporation.

Hello Mr. Thai, can you share a little about yourself and your career development journey?

Immediately after graduating, he chose to work at NTQ as an IOS Developer. In 2014, he decided to go onsite at the Japan branch for 3 years. Then in early 2017, he returned to Vietnam to continue working and in 2023 moved to the Korean branch. Before last Tet, he returned to Vietnam and took the position of Deputy Director of a production center.

It is known that your Center is in charge of NTQ's key project, can you reveal a little information?

This is a customer management project for a large corporation in Japan in the telecommunications sector and has great, long-term development potential. Currently, the customer has planned to increase the size to 100 employees this year and to 300 employees in the next 3 years.

Furthermore, the project is also very important to customers because currently the number of users on the system has reached thousands of people, so the members are extremely proud to participate in such a "big" project.

When participating in the project, what will members learn?

Regarding expertise, because the project's expertise is relatively broad, you can try your hand at many different stages such as creating design documents, building source code, writing unit test code, writing integration test code, automation testing. ,... By participating in many stages like that, you will have a comprehensive view of the overall picture and not all outsourcing projects allow that. At the same time, you will be exposed to technology, techniques and learn about business management from top companies in the world telecommunications industry.

The Japanese working style is relatively meticulous, requiring a high level of discipline, so you will be trained in a professional and standardized working style. The working process is clear right from the basic steps such as exchanging information, clarifying requirements, preparing documents...

In particular, for those who are interested in improving their foreign language skills, this project will create an environment for them to practice, from creating documents to participating in meetings or even talking directly with customers. row.

How do you evaluate the development roadmap for project members?

Of course, the opportunities are very open because the Production Center is in the development stage, whether you want to deepen your expertise, become a team lead, tech lead or advance to PM or middle management positions. You can be completely assured that key members of the project team or NTQ's team of experts will accompany you, ready to support and create conditions for maximum development.

What kind of piece would fit the team in your opinion?

Besides the requirement of suitable technology, a "perfect match" person can not only ensure the quality of their own work but also the ability to evaluate the work of others. At the same time, when working with Japanese customers, quality thinking is extremely important because they are very careful and meticulous.

Thank you Mr. Thai for taking the time to share!
